An Example Day

A day at Little Stars

8:00am - 9:15am
We welcome the children and help them to find their names.
Free play - making choices.
Lets make up a train track, read books in the book corner or dress up as doctor in the home corner.

9:15am - 9:45am
Breakfast
(Toast and fresh fruit)
The children are encouraged to spread their own toast, help to cut up the fruit and pour their own drinks - helping them to develop their independence and physical skills.

9:45am - 11:20am
Free play, Adult-led activities and outdoor play.

11:20am - 11:30am
We tidy up our toys and wash our hands.

11:30am - 11:45am
Song and story time!

11:45am - 12:15pm
Lunch time.
A social time for the children to sit together and develop their social skills.

12:15pm - 2:00pm
Rest and sleep time.
The older children free play during this time.

2:00pm - 2:15pm
Snack time.

2:15pm - 3:30pm
Free play, Adult-led activities and outdoor play.

3:30pm - 4:15pm
Tea time
(A choice of crackers, or warm pitta breads, fresh fruit and cake)

4:15pm - 5:45pm
Free play
Children start to be collected.

There are many resources on offer for all of the children to access during free play.
